Fire Queen were recently asked to carry out a Survey for the installation of Fire Extinguishers at Port Fuels in Ellesmere Port; the site had recently been extended & additional equipment was required throughout.

They already had Fire Extinguishers installed, however the locations were no longer prominent & protection from the elements was not sufficient. We also noted the means of raising Alarm was no longer sufficient, should there be an incident.

Due to the layout of the site, mounting of the Fire Extinguishers & means of raising an Alarm were problematic; we had to work with ESL to come up with a solution.

With some improvisation, we adapted heavy duty Fire Extinguisher cabinets with Alarm Call Points & Signs; these were then fixed to the concrete flooring in prominent positions around the site.

Now, wherever located on the site, all staff & visitors can clearly see & access the Fire Points.
