Fire Queen Limited; A Family Run Company
Fire Queen is a full member of BAFE (British Approvals for Fire Equipment), IFEDA (Independent Fire Engineering and Distributors Association) and the FPA (Fire Protection Association). We carry out maintenance strictly to British Standards codes of practice as certificated by the LPCB (Loss Prevention Certification Board).
Fire Queen became a limited company in 1975 having formally been know as the Fire Appliance Company. The name Fire Queen has origins as far back as 1859 and the management team now welcomes its fourth generation. With in excess of 5,000 customers, we carry out work across the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. We operate with 22 staff and engineers from our head office in Stockport. Comprehensive computer based systems exist to maintain customer records.
Employers and public/products liability insurance is provided by Fire Queen for the sums of £10 million & £5 million respectively.
In pursuance of continual improvement in our products and customer service, Fire Queen has implemented a Quality Management System to meet ISO9001:2000 requirements. We are audited in respect of Health and Safety matters by the National Britannia Safecontractor scheme. Registration with the Environment Agency enables us to remove and safely dispose of redundant equipment. |
